Cochabamba (Bolivia), 05/20/2019, Sr. Socorro García.- From May 18th to 19th, 2019, the Marie Poussepin lay meeting was held at the Marie Poussepin retreat house. The delegations of La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz were present and were in charge of the realization of the event.

The theme was the reflection and deepening of AMORIS LEATITIA, the second post-synodal apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis. More than 60 lay people with their families were present to look for and give newness to love in the family. The Jesuit Marcos Recolón guided the reflection and analysis of the document that had already been studied and deepened in each department. In the Eucharist on Sunday, 14 couples renewed the commitment they had made to 3, 5, 18, 25 and 50 years and, even aware of the difficulties, they again said YES to their companion on the way. Strengthened by the meeting, we started the return trip with the commitment to continue working and betting for the families.
