Roma (Italy), 01/24/2021, of letter of Sr. Maria Escayola Coris, Superior general.- We have just celebrated our thanksgiving to the Lord for the 25th anniversary of the Beatification of Marie Poussepin. This gave us the opportunity to fix our eyes on her, to go deeper into her response of fidelity to the Lord throughout her life, her intuitions and virtues, the charism she received for the Church.

In this year 2021, we will remember the 325 years of the existence of the Congregation. In January 1696, Marie Poussepin moved from Dourdan to Sainville, "where ignorance was great", to form there a Dominican community with strong foundations: fraternity and charity. The celebration of the birth of our Mother Foundress into heaven, on January 24, is a significant moment to mark the beginning of this year in which she herself will accompany us to relive our history of fraternity and charity.
