Amman (Jordan), 05/18/2016, Sr. Vinitha.- The Ministry of Social Development Jordan signed a contract of cooperation agreement on Tuesday 17 may, 2016 with Caritas Jordan and Italian Hospital Amman and the Jordanian Women Solitary Institute, Whose head is Asma Khader. Present at the ceremony was Minister of Social Development, H.E Reem Abu Hassan.

After signing the contract

The agreement provides for treating vulnerable domestic immigrants from Sreelanka, Philippines, Sudan, etc... and the Illegal patients and refugees from warring countries who need immediate care, treatment and hospitalization. Following the signing ceremony, the Minister of Social Development toured the hospital and was briefed on the services offered by the hospital and Caritas Jordan. The minister thanked the sisters and the hospital administration for the qualitative services we offer and also for serving as a remarkable Medical Institution in Jordan. This hospital began in 1926 and we the Dominican sisters took over from Combonian sisters in 2008. Since then a lot of improvements have taken place both in the administrative and qualitative care and services.
