Dominicas de la Presentación - Capítulo General 2019

La Turena, Bucaramanga (Colombia), 08/02/2019, Sr. Rosario Garcés del Castillo.- Constitution No. 178, says that The Mother House – La Grande Bretèche – is the "House of all", the source where the sisters come to draw from the spirit of our Mother Foundress. It signifies for the Congregation the "Community." It is, since its origin, a symbol of unity and a place for formation.

During the 54th General Chapter, it was decided to reorganize the Mother House with the objectives of responding to the needs of the environment and adapting to the current reality of the Congregation. Sister Maria Escayola Coris, Superior General and Sister Véronique Margron, Provincial Superior of France presented to the Chapter, the progress of the work. In a special way, we think of our Sisters in the community of the Mother House who are living with Hope amidst all the changes that the remodeling and construction implies.
