Capítulo General 2024

La Grande Bretèche (Tours), 08/03/2024, Sr. Gemma Morató i Sendra and Sr. Conchi García Fernández - www.domipresen.com.- With smiles, we start the day encouraged by the moderator who tells us that “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder,” quoting Leonardo da Vinci.

And we continue, singing in Sanskrit “Sharanam sharanam sharanam Christa” (I surrender to Christ), then we approve one acte. We cannot lose a point and thanks to Sister Ana Patricia Londoño, chapter secretary, and her team, we are up to date.

The DIVCSVA has sent a letter to the chapter reminding us of what this entails and highlights that the chosen motto “Together to transform our life and mission” leads us to prayer and to let ourselves be carried by the Spirit. It reminds us that we are called to announce the merciful love of God and entrusts us to the Virgin Mary and sends her blessings.

We proceed to share and vote on changing some Constitutions or ordinances, according to the work previously done in the Congregation.

We continue this task in the afternoon, starting with another phrase from Leonardo da Vinci, a result of the visit to Clos Luce: “Movement is the cause of all life,” followed by a beautiful prayer song projected on the screen, “As Christ is for Us.” An intense and long day, which occasionally forces us to stretch our muscles.

We continue to receive many messages from all over the Congregation. Thanks for the encouragement, we are almost done with the work.
