La Grande Bretèche (Tours), 07/28/2024, Sr. Gemma Morató i Sendra and Sr. Conchi García Fernández - www.domipresen.com.- The day started later, thank God. A bit of rest during the chapter activities is as welcome as rain falling from the sky.
At 9 a.m., we gathered to pray Lauds and then worked in committees until 11 a.m. Afterwards, we met with the sisters of the house and others from different communities to celebrate a festive Eucharist and thank the Lord for the new General Government.
The Mass, animated by the choir of sisters from Africa and wonderfully directed by Sister Virginie Dolebzanga, helped us give thanks to the Lord for everything experienced in the last two days.
Afterwards, an aperitif awaited us in the winter garden, where we enjoyed various dances from different parts of the world, with dancers full of colors and adorned with the subtle art of dance, greeting our new Superior General, Sister Mariamma Paul, and her council.
Later, about a hundred sisters shared a delicious Lebanese meal specially prepared for the occasion by Nathalie, the cook of the 106 community in Paris, who came specifically for this event. The afternoon was left free for rest, walks, work, and moments of sharing.
