Rome (Italy), 09/14/2023, Sr. Maria Escayola (Circular to the major Superiors).- We are living a meaningful moment in the history of the Church, with the celebration of the Synod on Synodality, which invites us to transform our participation in it and to walk, together with all the People of God.

Marie Poussepin applied it in her community, without using this word. From the beginning she established participation in the community assembly as one of the structures of her Institute: "Whenever it is necessary to deal with some important matter in the Community, the superior will not fail to consult the sisters" (R XIII); therefore, the participation of the Sisters and the search for consensus in what concerns all is essential.
