Dominicas de la Presentación - Capítulo General 2019

La Turena, Bucaramanga (Colombia), 7/11/2019, Sr. Marta Diazgranados and Sr. Gertrudis Viñas de la Hoz.- For some time now, the preparation for the 55th General Chapter has begun in the local communities with the invocation of the Holy Spirit asking for their assistance and the constance presence of Our Lady.

Bucaramanga, Province of open doors, convinced that those who "step on land in the region Santader is Santandereano" have been ready for the welcome of the Sisters, who have arrived from different places, some at dawn, in the afternoon and in the evening. Today almost all the capitulars arrived. La Turena, to facilitate these days of intense work, offers beauty, generosity, attentive and cheerful service, a house organized and ready to help to achieve the objectives of this congregational meeting.

Today was the day of the first meeting for some ones and the gathering for others. Tomorrow will be the occasion for trial of translation equipment, the knowledge of the house and the sharing on the chapter procedure to be agree certain aspects that will help us in the development of the Chapter. The official opening will be held on Saturday, July 13.
