Manizales (Colombia), 08/16/2019, Sr. Elsa Myriam Londoño.- The Holy Spirit’s flame of love has enlightened the Province of Manizales along its 65 years of existence. A Province born from the richness of the Provinces of Medellín and Bogotá, which at the time, moved by the God’s Spirit and the Service of Charity, crossed borders to reach other places and needs.

In preparation of the Solemnity of the Assumption and of the Province’s own Anniversary, a Triduum was celebrated, and we joyfully gave welcome to our Sisters, Herminia Rincón Marín (General Councilor) and Martha Lucía Andrade Morales (Provincial Superior) who brought us the Good News from the General Chapter. Following the same dynamic of the 55th General Chapter: To go out and to encounter the other, we want to follow the path proposed: “To transcend Borders” so as to make more alive each day the legacy of Charity of Marie Poussepin. With the whole Congregation we offer our thanksgiving saying with the Psalmist: “What marvels indeed [the Lord] did for us, and how overjoyed we are!” (Ps 126:3).
