Karehally (India), 06/02/2016.- God’s blessings has been Showered on this institute through our patron St. Dominic in whose name it stands as a witness to “thirst for truth, wisdom and knowledge.”
It’s our ardent prayer that every student who enters this institute may experience the grace of God and blessing of St. Dominic to learn to be studious and a desire to be a person of truth. We believe that it is a real grace for us being the year of Jubilee of 800 years of St. Dominic to bless our school in Karehally.On June 1, 2016 Sr. Philomina, the Provincial superior, inaugurated St. Dominic’s School, Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao, SJ., Bishop of Shivamoga blessed it and Rev. Fr. Anthony Peter Parish, Priest St. Anthony’s Church Shivamoga, unveiled the Plaque. Many of our sisters, invited guests, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents participated in this ceremony. It was indeed a great privilege to have the Blessing and Inauguration of St. Dominic’s School in this year 2016 as we celebrate the 800 Jubilee of the Dominican Order.
