Roma (Italy), 04/22/2021, Commission for SMC of the Congregation.- The Lord gives us an opportunity this year, to live two significant events: the eighth centenary of the birth to heaven (Dies Natalis) of St. Dominic and 325 years of foundation of our Congregation, reasons for which we express our gratitude to God.
We want to take advantage of this occasion, to deepen our knowledge on the life, inspiration and zeal that motivated St. Dominic to respond, with originality, to the needs of the Church of his time and Marie Poussepin who knew how to begin and shape the foundation of her community. With this intention, the commission for Social Means of Communications is preparing three virtual meetings for the Congregation, in this Jubilee Year. Let us entrust this undertaking to the Lord and ask the intercession of St. Dominic and Blessed Marie Poussepin.
- May 18, 2021: Sr. Anne Lécu, OP, Province of France
- June 26, 2021: Prof. Juan David Ospina, University of Manizales
- July 31, 2021: Fr. Gerard F. Timoner III, OP, Master of the Order
15:00 (3.00 pm) Central Europe, with a maximum duration of 90 minutes. The meetings will be translated into the three languages of the Congregation: French, English, and Spanish, to enable many communities and sisters to participate.
