Bucaramanga, 08/14/2017, Sr. Eleein Paola Navarro González.- It was with much expectation that the sisters “reporters” from each of the local communities of the Province of Bucaramanga met at La Turena on August 12 and 13 with the goal of learning the Project of the MSC of the Congregation, as well as the Province’s operating plan on how each local community participates in that new strategy for preaching the Gospel to the men and women of today.

Delivery of the Media Project of the CongregationDelivery of the Media Project of the CongregationThe spiritual setting of this encounter was the experience of “breaking down the walls” which prevents to bring the Gospel closer to this innovation of technology and of virtual relations. Inspired by the experience of Jesus, the Great Communicator, the sisters accepted the invitation to be active part of this Project and to assume the responsibility to prepare themselves so that with audacity and creativity the Word of the Gospel be heard in all places and that it may influence the conscience, the mind and the habits, which can be easily accessed thanks to the modern means of social communication, as mentioned by Pope Benedict XVI.

The Provincial Team of Means of Social Communication made up of Sisters: Rosa Aminta Ortega Gaitán, Luz Karime Mancipe Laguado, Eleein Paola Navarro González and Daissy Yasmín Acevedo Rubio will be responsible for motivating, energizing and implementing each of the objectives of the Project of Means of Social Communication, making a reality in each of the local communities this new aspect of missionary and evangelizing action of the Congregation.
