Bogotá (Colombia), 12/08/2017, Sr. Luz Marina Socha Gómez.- On December 8, at the headquarters of the Provincialate and in the context of Advent, of the liturgy of the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, was introduced the Religious Profession of Edith Mercedes, born in the city of Chiquinquirá and educated in the School of the Presentation of the same city. In an atmosphere of joy and simplicity faith, hope, color, music and table sharing, the Province of Santa Fe lived fully the wonderful gift of her call to holiness and to the announcement of the Gospel.

We give thanks to God, because He has blessed with his spirit of love the life and vocation of Edith Mercedes Zambrano Monroy. In the same way we give thanks to the community of Chiquinquirá, who constantly accompanied Sr. Edith Mercedes from childhood and in the awakening of her vocation as well as during the process of formation. We pray for the maternal protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for Sr. Edith Mercedes, her family and the Congregation. May she accompany her to live a life of joy, simplicity and faithfulness to her consecration as a Dominican Sister of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin. Congratulations!
