Manizales, 12/30/2017, Sr. Ana Patricia Vásquez.- On December 7, in a special ceremony held at “El Limonar”, the House for Gatherings, the sisters Luz Enith Ramírez Rodríguez y Leidy Johanna Aristizábal Padilla, took the habit and joined the Novitiate to continue the process of initial formation. God bless them and give them the Wisdom and Fortitude, faithfulness and perseverance for a generous “yes” to the love proposal of Jesus Christ, in the way of Marie Poussepin.
The Province of Manizales celebrates! ... The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad...
The celebration was inspired by the expressions of the Virgin Mary in various times of her life, which led her to express the joy of being chosen and of the mission entrusted to her by the Creator as Mother of the Redeemer. In each of these episodes, symbols were used which led to meditation and contemplation discovering the meaning of the sacred moment and of seeing the meaning of ‘putting on’ the modified habit as armor of God, sign of surrender, of faithfulness, and as temple that the Spirit inhabits and transfigures into instruments of the Kingdom of God. In the same way they are given the medal, the Constitutions and the Reglaments of Sainville, which identify them as novices of the Congregation.
The next day, December 8, at the Eucharist presided by the Reverend Tulio Cardona, la Hermana Dorelcy García Buitrago renewed her religious vows in the presence of Sister Herminia Rincón Marín, Superiora Provincial, delegated by Sister María Escayola Coris. It was a moment which invited to sing and to proclaim the faithfulness of a loving Father/Mother, merciful towards the choice work of His/Her hands. It was also a moment of thankfulness for the gift of life from her parents, teachers and communities who had sown and cared for the seeds of her vocation.
These were days of happiness and deep joy, of gratitude for the road already made and for the loving response from each of these Sisters novices and of renewed vows offered to God. May God bless them and the Virgin, Mother and Queen of the Presentation, exemplar of faithfulness and of gift accompany them on their journey.
