Roma (Italy), 05/17/2020, Sr. Ana Patricia Londoño.- The lessening of the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, allowed us to come together on this day with the communities of Il Rosario and Valdieri to celebrate the Eucharist, as a gift of God's fidelity to Sr. Maria, whom he has loved, called and sustained throughout these 50 years of consecration.
Equally we acknowledged the fidelity of Sr. Maria, who with simplicity and a deep sense of belongingness, has sought to follow and serve the Lord in the exercise of Charity, in the footsteps and example of Marie Poussepin. Our Eucharist was also a sacred space where the entire Congregation joined in thanksgiving with Sr. Maria Escayola and asked the Lord to continue to guide her and give her his Spirit so that, in fidelity to God's project she may be enabled to make decisions for the needs of the Church and the people of today being faithful to the original spirit and Charism of the "Social Apostle of Charity". This gathering was enriched by table fellowship, community recreation, and reading through all the messages from across the congregation expressing their joy and closeness.
May the Lord continue to bless Sr. Maria Escayola and all of us along with his.
