Mexico, 07/25/2016, Sr. Maria Escayola, Superior General.- Dear Sisters, On the feast of St. James, the apostle, we have received the sad news about the death of Sr. María Magdalena Herrera Palacios. She passed away this morning suddenly in an accident at Bogota.
We thank the Lord for the gift of her life in commitment to the Lord in the Congregation in the field of education and her service of animation at local, provincial and general level. She also maintained close relationship with Dominican Order and contributed to the Consecrated life through her service at the Latin American Conference of Religious (CLAR). Her service at the Mother House has left imprints of her commitment and dedication, particularly in the reorganization of the Documentation Center. I invite you to be united in prayer in solidarity and closeness to the Province of Santa Fe.

Sr. María Magdalena Herrera Palacios died of accident on July 25, 2016 in Bogota.
She was 77 years and 56 years of religious profession.
