Sainville (France), 04/30/2024, Sisters Carmen Leonor Cortés C. and Marta Roselia Galdámez H.- SA dream has come true. From the moment our superiors offered us such an incomparable experience, our hearts began to beat in unison with this great pilgrimage.
- Impregnate ourselves more with the Charism and to radiate it with greater strength.
- Get to know Marie Poussepin better.
- Falling in love with her great virtue: Charity.
- Appreciate the courage and fortitude of the Sisters throughout history, in order to draw new strength from the historical moment in which we live.
From the moment we arrived, we felt at home as sisters, recognizing those family traits that characterize us as daughters of Marie Poussepin; simplicity, joy and welcome, a source of fraternity that unites us despite time and distance. Each of the sisters has allowed us to share the different missionary experiences and we have been enriched by them, appreciating the multiple expressions of the Charism.
The different places of the house: the fountain, the chapel, the room of Marie Poussepin, and the crypt, were a source of contemplation and admiration that led us to thank God for this small, mysterious and fruitful seed of the Charism that today spreads like a leafy tree in so many countries. The experiences we have had in the different places we have visited speak to us of this deep spirituality, nourished by the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the tireless service to the most needy. It is a great challenge for each of us as we await the next General Chapter and continue the process of restructuration and giving meaning to our lives.
With Psalm 91, "It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to praise your name, O Most High," we thank God for this great gift, Sr. Maria Escayola Coris, Superior General, and her Council, as well as our structures and communities that accompany us and have made this pilgrimage possible.
