Petaluma (Colombia), 04/25/2017, Sr. María Odilia Gil.- From April 21st to 23rd, the groups who belong to the “Movimiento Juvenil Shekiná” (Shekina Youth Movement) from the different schools of the Presentation in the Province of Santafe, assembled in Nazaret-Petaluma, the house for Meetings. This Movement “enables the youth to experience being loved by God, grow deeper in relationship with God and commit themselves to personal and community growth by acknowledging the many gifts received daily.”

The activities of the Shekiná camp 2017 were prepared on the theme of the movie “El último regalo” (The last gift). The youth had to go through different trials to find the gifts of work, joy, solidarity, gratuity, friends and dreams, which would lead to the big gift: the gift of love, which is found in God and in His will for the salvation of human beings. For sure, the warm welcome and support from the Sisters of the Community in Nazareth-Petaluma and the enthusiastic participation from the groups made it possible to have a fraternal meeting as Presentation Shekina family around Jesus, the Risen Lord. We thank the welcoming community in the house for Meetings, Sisters and the laity who help them, because they supported us and made it possible to have this beautiful experience.
