Melipilla (Chile), 10/26/2018, Erwin Olmos Palacios, missionary of the Ligua.- Between October 12th and 14th, the “Presentation Missionaries” community coming from different places from Chile and Argentina, met at Nuestra Señora de la Presentación School in Melipilla. Nuns, priests and lay people met under the slogan “Church with open eyes, not sleeping”.
In the training meeting it was possible to listen and share the current ecclesiastic reality and, in this way, look for the paths we dream for our church and strengthen the missionary disciples from Marie Poussepin and Saint Dominic charisma.
On the day we celebrated our founder Marie Poussepin, it was a beautiful experience to accompany seven lay missionaries who made their “Presentation Promises” and other two who renewed it. This fact binds and commits them even more with the Congregation Charisma.
In this encounter, the missionaries also prepared themselves for the new mission Project that is going to be carried out for three years. This new challenge is Curanipe (7th region) between 2019-2021. It is gratifying to feel that we are advancing in responsability, depth and commitment in this walking of Presentation missionaries, always willing to the mission.
