Bogotá-Medellín (Colombia), 09/30/2024.- On our journey of following the Lord in this stage of the Novitiate, the time has come to go to the local Communities to share life and mission, to give witness to the faith that dwells within us and to the joy of one who feels infinitely loved and, out of love, is able to go towards others.
We, the Novices Aracelis Batista Domínguez (Province of Medellín), Valentina Vargas Barreto, and Martha Lucía Deiss, have generously prepared ourselves to participate in the mission in Cuba, while María Isabel Taisigüe Taisigüe and Leticia Elizabeth Ramírez Sequeira have been sent to Puerto Leguízamo and Mocoa, two mission territories in the south of Colombia. We send you a fraternal greeting full of gratitude and affection for this missionary sending that we have received, which is for us a grace and an opportunity to approach in a new way the realities we wish to respond to with our lives.
We hope, with the help of the Holy Spirit and through the intercession of Our Lady of the Presentation and our foundress Marie Poussepin, to be able to respond with great generosity according to God's will. We trust in your prayers and your constant support. United in prayer.
