Bogota-Medellin (Colombie), 11/20/2024, novicies.- We thank you, Lord, for this call through the Charism of Marie Poussepin to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. We thank the Congregation for sending us on mission to Putumayo (Puerto Leguízamo and Mocoa) and Cuba, in its two communities: Pueblo Griffo and Perico.
These experiences have enriched our vocational convictions and become a sustained "yes," in which we have embodied the Word of God. From this reality, we have been able to share it with our brothers and sisters, encouraging and uplifting them so they do not lose Faith and Hope. For us, this mission was of great value, as it led us to place our brothers and sisters at the center of our lives, recognizing Jesus in them. For some, it was a challenge to leave our homeland and share with other peoples; for others, it was about continuing to encourage a community that shares our Catholic faith. For each of us, the commitment remains to continue responding to the mission, “wherever the Church calls us and our brothers and sisters need us.”
United in prayer for our sisters in the various missions of the Congregation. May Our Lady of the Presentation always accompany us. Thank you so much, dear sisters!
