Bogota (Colombie), 01/01/2025, Sr. Nubia Yaneth Chávez Corredor.- On December 8th, the Province of Bogotá joyfully and solemnly celebrated the generous commitment of the sisters: Sr. Gloria Leonor Clavijo and Sr. Lucila Sánchez Salguero, who marked their golden jubilees; Sr. Amara Zenaida Pichardo (Nicaragua), Sr. Claudina Ineda Bustos, Sr. Luz Grecia Ocampo Gaviria, Sr. Luz Marina Lee Culma, Sr. Nidia Yaneth Gaona Bejarano, and Sr. Olga Lucia Mendivelso Gómez, who celebrated their silver jubilees.

The definitive "yes" of Sr. Edit Mercedes Zambrano Monrory, who made her perpetual profession — the first in the new Province — and the renewal of vows by Sr. María del Mar Castro were also honored. The solemn Eucharist, celebrated in the Chapel of La Presentación at the Central House, was presided over by Fr. Diego Serna O.P. He reflected on the Word of God through the symbolism of gold and silver as incorruptible elements, representing the dedication and availability of religious consecration. He expressed gratitude and praised the life testimony of those who have walked for more than twenty-five and fifty years in the footsteps of the Lord, always trusting in His Word.

"O Lord, I will always sing of your constant love"

(Ps 89:1)

He also emphasized the significance of religious consecration as a life choice that brings fulfillment and draws one closer to the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, "a model of faithfulness and self-giving" in the Congregation. After the Eucharistic celebration, a fraternal gathering was shared with the families and friends of our beloved sisters.
