The Community of the Missionaries of the Presentation is placed at the heart of the spirituality of the Congregation and wherever there is a Missionary of the Presentation, there is the Congregation.
The aim of the meeting was: to renew the personal conviction and community commitment of the Lay Missionaries to follow Jesus Christ with the insight received from the Dominican Jubilee year. The first day was spent to have a “grateful look on the past.” It was a time to remember the journey travelled by the Community of the Missionaries of the Presentation and also to welcome the new members. The second day was meant “to live passionately the present.” It helped them to reflect on the reality with the insight received from the Jubilee year of Mercy and the Dominican jubilee year. At the end of the day there were cultural activities which enabled them to know and share on the life and witness of the Dominican Saints. And the third day was an invitation to “embrace the future with hope.” During this time the Missionaries also had the visit of Sr. Maria Escayola Coris, Superior General and Sr. Blanca Aurora Marín and Sr. María Leonor Charria, General Councilors who took time to dialogue with them and respond to their questions and concerns
Once again, the Lord renews the life and mission of the Delegation of Aconcagua through the presence and sharing of the Missionaries of the Presentation who in their respective Communities live the spirituality of the Congregation and make the Congregation to be present in those places by living the message that the Sisters of the General Government gave them during their dialogue with them: The Community of the Missionaries of the Presentation is placed at the heart of the spirituality of the Congregation and wherever there is a Missionary of the Presentation, there is the Congregation.
