La Turena (Bucaramanga), 10/04/2017, Sr. Luz Karime Mancipe Laguado.- Eighteen Sisters from the Province of Bucaramanga, who form part of the 1st Graduating Class of 2017 from the Parish School of Catechesis ESPAC, were granted the Diploma for Parish Catechesis during the ceremony which was held on October 4th in Madre Clara Josefina hall of La Turena.
After completing the 4 stages in the Process for Catechumens and distinguishing themselves through their witness of life and acquiring the doctrinal and pedagogical basics to fulfil their duties as educators of faith in the Christian Community, the Sisters finished their four years studies with the ceremony of the graduation. This achievement is a great joy for the whole Province, because it can thus offer a better service through the mission in each one of the places where we are engaged in the Proclamation of the Gospel.
Sr. Gloria Smith Amaya, coordinator of the mission, Sr. Sara Matilde Díaz Moncada, coordinator of the program and Brother Juan David Montes o.p. presided over the ceremony. The Diploma is endorsed by the Fundación Universitaria Monserrate – UNIMONSERRATE – which is an institution for Higher Education run by the Archdiocese of Bogotá.
Let us applaud on this achievement and celebrate with great joy the work accomplished by our Sisters.
