Medellín (Colombia), 12/13/2020, Sr. Rosemary Castañeda.- Every year on December 7, at night, all of us in Colombia go out to light "little candles" at the door of our houses and fill the streets with light. The night of "las Velitas" (the candles) means the radiance that God offered to the Virgin Mary and her acceptance of that divine intervention. 

Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), SR. CELINE SAWADOGO, December 13, 2020.- "BEHOLD DAYS OF PEACE AND JOY!". Born in 765 B. C, Isaiah, also known as the Prophet of Emmanuel, begins his prophetic ministry in 740, announcing the destruction of Israel and Judah as punishment for their unfaithfulness. For half a century, his ministry was overshadowed by the growing threat that Assyria placed on Israel and Judah. He is the prophet of faith and hope, but also the greatest of the Messianic prophets. During the great crises that his nation goes through, he asks that they trust in God alone, the only way for salvation. He knows that the trial will be hard but hopes that a remnant will come out of it and that the Messiah will be the king for them.

Here is your God” (Is 40:9). John the Baptist is one of the great figures of Advent, with his presence and his preaching he announces the arrival of the Messiah and the inauguration of a new era of justice and peace that will gladden the hearts of the people and strengthen hope in the promise of salvation.

Rachiteni (Romania), 11/22/20, Sr. Victoria Balteanu.– We had a simple celebration to receive Marie Poussepin to our country and with three different reasons: discover the “House of Saint Anne”, celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Beatification and the celebration of the birthday of our foundress.

Barcelona (Spain), 20/11/2020, Sr. Gemma Morató.- Tomorrow is the Presentation of the Virgin to the Temple. Therefore we wish ourselves a happy feast and offer a poster/postcard to print and share, on this closing day of the year of Thanksgiving to the Lord for the Beatification of Marie Poussepin.

Brownsville, Texas (USA), 11/19/2020, Community of Brownsville.- In the context of the year of grace of the 25th anniversary of the Beatification of our Mother Foundress Marie Poussepin, our community celebrates 50 years of missionary presence in the Diocese of Brownsville. Our presence in the Dioceses of Brownsville, Texas began on January 30, 1970, at the request of Bishop Humberto Medeiros who wanted the sisters to respond to the needs of the migrant workers in Raymondville. The USA Vice Province responded to its first missionary expansion outside Massachusetts.
