Chile and Argentina, 10/28-11/17/2016, Sr. Gabriela Vergara.- The canonical visit to each community was begun with the Bible quote from Job 14: 7-9. Now, all of us in the Delegation of Aconcagua thank the Lord because, the presence of the Sisters of the General Government had been like water for each Sister, each Community and for the mission. It helps us to shoot out new branches and flower again in the soil of Chile and Argentina where we realize the mission entrusted to us.
Completion of retreat with all the Delegation
At the beginning of the visit, the Sisters of the General Government could meet with our brothers and sisters of the community of the missionaries of the Presentation. They could also share with them their dreams and concerns during their visit to the mission. Then, there was the visit and the sharing with each Sister and each Community. At the end of the visit there was an open assembly in which everyone participated and also a retreat in the Community of Putaendo to prepare ourselves for the feast of the Presentation.
Throughout the visit of our Sisters, we experienced a favourable ambience of simplicity, openness and dialogue and this enabled us to be in communion with the whole Congregation. We experienced these days as a time of grace which helped us to share who we are and what we have.
