Poland, 07/25/2016, Sr. Victoria Balteanu.- Dear Sisters: I write to share with you that I am in Poland, from July 17 to August 1st, at the International World Youth meeting. I have come from Lebanon with a group of young people to work as volunteers during the meeting.

Digthon (USA), 07/05/2016, Vice-Province USA.- The Canonical Visit of the General Government (06/15/2016 - 07/04/2016) to the USA structure was certainly filled with blessings for everyone. The presence of Sr. María Escayola, Sr. Mariamma Paul and Sr. Rosario Garcés was a time not only of sharing and listening, but also an opportunity to experience the Congregation and to renew ourselves. We welcome them first at our Vice Provincial House in Dighton, where we had a gathering and prayer together, as well as the Celebration of the Jubilees of Religious Profession of five of our sisters.

Bangalore (India), 06/05/2016, Sr. Teresa.- Jubilee is a celebration of rejoicing because God has blessed us with immense graces during the past 800 years of life as Dominicans. It is a time of sharing of our joy as a family and a time to thank God for His constant companionship with the order in the past years. So as a family we gathered in our Provincial house on the 4th of June 2016, to celebrate this day of joy.
Paris (France), 06/23/2016, Redaction.- The Spiritual Book Award was given by Panorama - La Procure to Sr. Anne Lécu of the Province of France for her book Tu as couvert ma honte (You Have Covered My Shame) from Cerf Editions. Sr. Anne exerce la médecine en prison. She regularly publishes meditations on the Internet site Signe dans la Bible et and is the author of Des larmes and Marcher vers l’innocence published by Cerf.
Barcelona (Spain), 06/05/2016, Sr. Gemma Morató.- Last June 4, feast of the Sacred Heart, some sisters participated in the Eucharistic Celebration in the Church of Tibidabo in Barcelona. Although the Mass was centered on the feast of the Sacred Heart, it also spoke of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Venerable Dorotea de Chopitea, which was to be celebrated on the following day. A crowded celebration with procession and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament walked the streets in the city of Barcelona. A beautiful moment of communion with so many people who live, suffer and / or do not know the love of God.
Santa Fe de Bogotá (Colombia), 06/08/2016, Sr. Rosalba Villamil.- Vocation is what explains, in its deph, the mystery of human life, the mystery of preaching and absolute gratitude. Let us relook at one of the urgencies of the 54th General Chapter which tells us: We must “commit ourselves to Vocation Ministry with responsibility and creativity as a mission of the local community as a whole.” In the agreements taken at the meeting of the contact persons in each community on July 2015 in Petaluma we agreed to: Establish a clear and concrete agenda about the number and dates for the meetings for vocations to strengthen the work and commitment of each local community.
Camporredondo (Peru), 04/28/2016, From the Supplement Camporredondo of Los Andes.- In response to the request made in 2013 by Bishop Emiliano Antonio Cisneros Martinez, Augustinian Recollect, Bishop of the Diocese of Chachapoyas, in the department of Amazonas, Peru, and after several missionary experiences in which participated some lay people, and much discernment, on April 27 in a Eucharist celebrated at the provincial house in Lima and presided over by Fr. Juan José Salaverry, provincial prior of the Dominicans, it took place the official sending of the Sisters. Rocío del Pilar Cuéllar Dávalos, Ana Inés Márquez Paneso, Nora del Socorro Zuleta Posada and María Natalia Huamán Vicente, who departed from Lima to Camporredondo on April 28, with happiness and generosity of missionary launches and risks bringing the Good News.
France, 01/05/2016, Sr. Amanda Mancipe.- The so called Düsseldorf meetings were born of the desire of the young sisters of the Dominican Congregations in Europe. Sr. Cielo Esperanza Patiño from the Community of Il Rosario (Roma) and I (France) participated in this meeting (01/02-04/2016) at the invitation of Sr. Veronique Margron, provincial superior. We were a group of 22 Sisters from the different countries and Dominican Congregations in Europe and Sr. Else-Britt, the continental coordinator. Sr. Else presented us the history and statistics of the Apostolic Dominican Sisters in Europe.
