Santa Fe of Bogota and Dominican Republic, 08/08-30/2016, Srs. of Santafé.- On august, the Sisters of the Santa Fe Province lived on full of joy, the presence of our loved Sisters of the General Government between us. Their presence, simpleness, listening, counseling and cheer, stay in our heart full of gratitude, of strength, of courage, and with the best wishes to continue giving impulse to our live in the personal and communitarian mission, looking for the holiness, anchored in the love of God and the neighbor.

París (Francia), 08/30/2016, RCF.- We would like to share with joy Sr. François de Sales interview which was carried out in early July in their community, by Béatrice Soltner, and broadcasted in these current days by Radio RCF (CHRISTIAN RADIO FRANCOPHONE, a network of 63 local radios). “The rest of my time, my prayer, my way of thinking, is thanksgiving”. At the age of 96, Sr. Françoise Grangier has a bright look at aging.

Guaimaca (Honduras), 08/21/2016, Sisters Marie Poussepin Center.- At the Marie Poussepin Center Guaimaca, Honduras, we welcomed the Year of Mercy as an invitation to live the Merciful attitude of the Father. In making it ours, in both spiritual and corporal works, we thought of doing with the students a brave and beautiful gesture of Charity and generosity towards children with càncer, Braiding Smiles of Solidarity with them, being donors of their hair for the children to have their wigs and does feel happy and hopeful.

Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador, 07/09-31/2016, Srs. de Guadalupe.- On July 6th, we had the joy of welcoming our sisters from the General Government to the Provincial House for the canonical visit to our Province: Sr. María Escayola Coris, Superior General, Sr. Maria Leonor Charria Angulo, Sr. Blanca Aurora Marín, Sr. María Fabiola Duque, Sr. Diana Gisela Dolorita and Sr. Rosario Amelia Garcés, who was with us just for a few days for her canonical visit to the provincial secretariat, then, she traveled to Colombia.

Bogotá (Colombia),06/18/2016, Sr. Matilde Beltrán.- The Provinces of Santafé and Bogota jointly celebrated a day on Mission, presided over by Sr. Berta Graciela Acero and Sr. Fanny Yolanda Barrantes. Around one hundred fifty sisters came together to give thanks and to put into the hands of God, our service of charity, in the different places of our mission.

Mexico, 07/25/2016, Sr. Maria Escayola, Superior General.- Dear Sisters, On the feast of St. James, the apostle, we have received the sad news about the death of Sr. María Magdalena Herrera Palacios. She passed away this morning suddenly in an accident at Bogota.

Poland, 07/25/2016, Sr. Victoria Balteanu.- Dear Sisters: I write to share with you that I am in Poland, from July 17 to August 1st, at the International World Youth meeting. I have come from Lebanon with a group of young people to work as volunteers during the meeting.

Digthon (USA), 07/05/2016, Vice-Province USA.- The Canonical Visit of the General Government (06/15/2016 - 07/04/2016) to the USA structure was certainly filled with blessings for everyone. The presence of Sr. María Escayola, Sr. Mariamma Paul and Sr. Rosario Garcés was a time not only of sharing and listening, but also an opportunity to experience the Congregation and to renew ourselves. We welcome them first at our Vice Provincial House in Dighton, where we had a gathering and prayer together, as well as the Celebration of the Jubilees of Religious Profession of five of our sisters.
