La Paz (Bolivia), 06/18/2020.- With joy we share different creations made with love for Marie Poussepin from Bolivia.
Marie Poussepin's petals
To approach the life of our mother Marie Poussepin, we must first know the most elementary of her life, Our Blessed, was born in Dourdan, France on October 14, 1653 and died on January 24, 1744. She founded the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin. She was baptized on October 14, 1653 in the Church of Saint Pierre, her parents Claude Poussepin and Julienne Fourrier.
She had seven brothers of whom only two lived until adulthood, the other five died in her childhood, she was beatified by her great gifts and charisms, on November 20, 1994 by Pope John Paul II.
Among her virtues are: kindness, gracefulness, with touches of feminine urbanity, which made her close to everyone, very understandable, always instilled love and respect for others. This obviously turns out to be one of the values that she left us as inheritance.
There is a written allegory dedicated to her and it says: "When we admire a rose, we inhale its fragrance, we feel the smoothness of its petals, we breathe out its perfume, we contemplate its delicate and simple beauty, we feel absorbed by the reflection of the gifts divine in a creature, the virtues are those gifts that the Lord has placed in us and that with our effort we must respond to those divine gifts and with the action of his grace we make fruit, if possible, one hundred percent of that Rose that is Marie Poussepin and we see that a petal gives us its strength, its unwavering faith ”.
She never had the luxury of declining in difficulties, misunderstandings and long waits, that faith is attributable to God and is based on the experience of his baptism, and it is centered on the person of Jesus, she strives to know him, love him and lead wherever you want, to make you know and love others.
Another petal that gives its fragrance is charity, that is to say that its faith is exercised by its charity and this faith must bear fruit if it does not die. She considered herself a worker of Providence, that makes her authentic in her Christian life, those who knew her in her time said, she is a lady of great charity, who helped those who needed it most, that's why she flourished first in her community, where charity prevailed, that must be the soul of the community.
Saint Paul is inspired by praise and says true LOVE should be patience, be helpful, should not be selfish and rejoice with the truth, also excuse everything, expect everything and bear it all. (Corinthians 13).
She said in one of her letters, that she wanted to always be simple, another petal of the rose, that is why in her grave is written “She saw what was right in the eyes of God and accomplished it”. That is why we say that she practice Humility, Simplicity, and Truth, to be transparent and that is why she is described as humble, pious and charitable Marie Poussepin.
The rose that resembles, releases a soft fragrance, those that enclose, prudence, balance, justice and peace, this invaded her soul, her person and her actions, in her tent God lived, that is why she radiated peace and love and mainly serve with love and charity.
A LIFE, WHICH GIVEN ITSELF ONLY BY GIVING VIRTUES: LIKE PRUDENCE, SIMPLICITY, INTELLIGENCE AND CONFIDENCE, IT IS BEAUTIFUL TO HAVE AN EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW, THAT IF IT WAS PUT INTO ACTION, LIFE WOULD BE ANOTHER. HERE YOU SEE THAT SHE WAS VERY DELIVERED AND KNEW WHAT SHE WANTED. IT WAS HER INTELLIGENCE AND LOVE, WHICH MADE HER COMPLETE A FOUNDATION OF THE DOMINICANS SISTERS OF THE PRESENTATION. RECOVER EVERYTHING SHE DID, IS THE LEAST WE SHOULD DO, WITHOUT FORGETTING THREE CENTURIES HAVE PASSED AND THE PROBLEMS ARE STILL IN SOCIETIES OR COMMUNITIES AND THAT IS WHAT IS NEEDED FOR MEN AND WOMEN TO LEARN. SHE WAS BEATIFIED FOR ITS GREAT WORKS.

Marie Poussepin inspires us
Marie Poussepin was a very supportive woman and throughout her life she helped everyone with love and faith, not only her family, but everyone who suffered or needed help, no matter who she was.
When she passed away, she was not one of those gray or sad days, it was a joyous and full of life day, the day that she left to meet our creator, she did not go completely, she stayed in the hearts of people and became, in some way or another, the inspiration of people who want to help others and shared that spirit of solidarity with those who wanted to help. Like her, there are other saints who, guided by the hand of God with the support of our Lord Jesus, let themselves be carried away by that spirit of faith, to do good.
Today we can follow their example and let ourselves be carried away by that spirit of faith that they had and grow, change and improve our way of life and that of other people.

Most high God, our eternal Father in heaven. Invoking Jesus Christ your Son, who paid for our sins on the Cross, bringing us closer in prayer, and trusting in your great love and mercy, and through the intercession of Blessed Marie Poussepin considered the Social Apostle of Charity, we pray for
The sick and infected by the corona-virus that You may help them, and sustain their bodies and spirits. We ask that they come to you and seek your face. We beseech you, in your infinite goodness and mercy, to stop the spread of infection.
There are families with young children at home, help mothers and fathers to be united in the care of their children. Give them patience and creativity. We beseech You Father, protect all children from infection with the corona-virus as well as from abuse and mistreatment.
We pray for parents who cannot stay at home, but must find care for their children, to find safe places for their little ones.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
