Kerala (India), September 2018, Sr. Philomina Vengachottil.- State of Kerala lived the most devastating flood of the century. It brought in an army of Good Samaritans who came from all over the state who risked their own lives to rescue the people and to get them back on their feet. The waters rose but Kerala was not overcome. Even when their own homes were water-logged, volunteers travelled around to save the lives of the people who marooned in homes and institutions.

France, 09/09/2018, Srs. María Esperanza Olarte-Mateus and Pascale Moisy.- A pilgrimage on the Route of the abolition of slavery in France was proposed by Sr. Véronique Margron, provincial superior of France and her council. It took place from August 26 to September 1, 2018; ten sisters from the province participated in it.
Bucaramanga (Colombia), 09/03/2018, Sr. Luz Karime Mancipe.- On Sunday, September 2nd, at the Gathering Center of “La Turena”, the VII Youth Presentation Yamizlana was held, on the topic: “Young people the time has come.” More than 80 participants came from various communities of the Province and organized by the Sisters in Youth Ministry, Anayibe Flórez y Luz Karime Mancipe.
Bogotá (Colombia), August 2018, Sr. Olga María Botia.- The 5th National Meeting of Vocation Ministry in Colombia, organized by the Vocation Ministry Commission of the Conference of Religious of Colombia, was held in Bogota from August 17 to 19, with the theme “LISTEN, DISCERN AND LIVE THE CALL OF THE LORD”. Sixty-six women and men religious from different Congregations (3 Sisters of the Presentation from the Province of Santa Fe) and some laity committed to the mission of Youth and Vocation Ministry participated in it.
Bogotá (Colombia), August 2018, Sr. Luz Karime Mancipe.- "The forming community as an ecosystem of formation", it was the theme proposed for the course of Dominican Formators, organized by CODALC (Confederation of Dominican Sisters of Latin America and the Caribbean) and CIDALC (Interprovincial Conference of Dominicans of Latin America and the Caribbean), which was developed from 16 to 26 in August, at the "Casa de Encuentros Santa Luisa" of the Vincentian Sisters, in Bogotá, Colombia.
Sainville (Francia), August 2018, Srs. participants.- After two months of fraternal sharing, on July 31, 2018, the first session of CEMP (Marie Poussepin Study Center) in English ended.
Kerala (India), 08/30/2018, Srs. of India.- Monsoon rain is a yearly feature in the region of Kerala. Every year from the beginning of June till the middle of August Kerala experiences heavy rain falls. But this year it was heaver. The monsoon rainfall on the mid evening of August 8 was so great that it resulted filling the dams to capacity. In the first 24 hours of rainfall the state received 310mm (12inches) of rain. Almost all the dams have been opened since the water level has been close to overflow level, flooding local low-lying areas, rivers and canals.
Cali (Colombia), 08/28/2018, Sr. Diana Lucía Rivera.- From August 7 to the 14 in the city of Cali, at the Meeting House Marie Poussepin, took place the Annual Retreat guided by Father Harold Cuervo, priest of the Carmelite Community. The theme of the retreat was: Centrality in Jesus Christ. The atmosphere of silence, contemplation and prayer enabled a meeting face to face with the person of Jesus Christ, chaste, poor and obedient.
