Morelia (Mexico), 08/02/2017, Sr. Janet Ceja, superior provincial, and Srs. councelors.- For a few months now, we got rolling in Morelia, the Provincial Project House Marie Poussepin, which brings with it many of our hopes. With God’s help, the construction is almost finished and with part of it completed, we are able now to welcome the first new students.

Community of Año Nuevo.- As we celebrated the Teacher’s day in Peru on July 6th, we made the following reflection which we are going to share with you today: For the Education Community of “Fe y Alegría 10”, (faith and joy 10) the interaction between the school and the people around is very important to offer an education with quality.
Ouagadougou - Dassasgho (Burkina Faso), 06/20/2017, Sr. Béatrice Kantoro.- End of Year of the Children of the Center of Pre-school Education Marie Poussepin: Since Friday evening, the day before the end of the year, employees and APE members were responsible for cleaning, decorating and chairs. On June 17th at dawn, the Lord sent us heavy rains. Cooler and happy, we were ready to face a long journey.
Bucaramanga (Colombia), 07/03/2017, Sr. Eleein Paola Navarro.- La Turena, “la casa de todas” (the house of all), welcomed the Lay Dominicans of the Presentation of our Province of Bucaramanga, who came together for their General Assembly from June 29 to July 2, accompanied by the Sisters who assist them. They reflected on the theme: Committed to care for our Common House, enlightened by the Encyclical “Laudato Si” of Pope Francis.
Bogota (Colombia), 07/09/2017, Sisters province of Bogota.- “Canonical visit is a special time of our life journey, a time of listening, dialogue, knowledge, communion and a search together, a task that is not easy at all, but we are sure that the Lord is with us. It is a time in which your history and project, of each community and the Province unites with that of the Congregation in the entire world to share life and hope. The Congregation exists where each sister and each community lives her Spiritual experience.”
Bucaramanga (Colombia), 06/16/2017, Sr. Luz Karime Mancipe Laguado.- This year the Faculty of Health Care in the “Universidad Industrial de Santander, UIS”, based in Bucaramanga, completed 50 years offering formation in science, ethics and humanism. A beautiful and moving historical survey of this Faculty of Health Care was the prelude for the posthumous recognition of a renowned daughter of Marie Poussepin, which took place on June 14, in Louis A. Calvo auditorium of this great educational center.
Lima (Peru), 07/01/2017, Sr. Ofelia Quispe Huallpara, Provincial Superior of Los Andes.- Saint Rose of Lima continues walking paths of faith. As we are celebrating 400 years of Saint Rose of Lima’s death, her relics travel across different places of Peru as an example of a DOMINICAN LAY WOMAN.
Lima (Peru), 29/06/2017, Srs. of the Province of Los Andes.- On June 28th night Fr. Juan José Salaverry OP, Prior of the Province of Saint John the Baptist in Peru, brought the relics of Saint Rose of Lima to our Provincial house in Lima.
Mocoa (Colombia), 06/28/2017, Sr. Pastora Marín.- You never know what a person can do or how he will react to a sudden tragedy ... The people of Mocoa, Putumayo, in Colombia have suffered one of the greatest natural catastrophes of this century.
