Tegucigalpa (Honduras), 01/04/2018, Sr. Marta Inés Toro.- December 31st, 2017 has certainly been a day of rejoicing and thanksgiving for our Vice Province as Sister Sindi Araceli Bardales Pérez, our first Honduran novice, made her first profession in her home parish of Las Casitas in Tegucigalpa.

Manizales, 12/30/2017, Sr. Ana Patricia Vásquez.- On December 7, in a special ceremony held at “El Limonar”, the House for Gatherings, the sisters Luz Enith Ramírez Rodríguez y Leidy Johanna Aristizábal Padilla, took the habit and joined the Novitiate to continue the process of initial formation. God bless them and give them the Wisdom and Fortitude, faithfulness and perseverance for a generous “yes” to the love proposal of Jesus Christ, in the way of Marie Poussepin.

Fusagasugá (Colombia), 26/12/2017, Sr. Cecilia de los Dolores.- As we continue our mission of education in Fundación de Educación en Salud Marie Poussepin (Marie Poussepin Foundation for Education in health care)“FORMASALUD” in Fusagasugá, on December 16th 2017, we held a ceremony in the auditorium of Colegio de la Presentación,(Presentation Higher Secondary School) in Fusagasuga for the Certification of 25 out of the 27 Auxiliary Nursing Technicians and 5 Auxiliary Nurses who did their practice in Clinical Laboratory.

Lima (Peru), 12/08/2017, Sr. Gloria Eugenia Piedrahita.- Today December 7th, at the School of Jesus, of the Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Rosary, 38 sisters from Bolivia and Peru have met in response to the convocation made by the Provincial Government for our Open Assembly. The Morning Prayer, the greeting, and welcome message of Sr. Ofelia Huallpara, Superior Provincial, established what would be our first assembly. It was a day of joy, of information and contributions of ideas.

Bogotá (Colombia), 12/08/2017, Sr. Luz Marina Socha Gómez.- On December 8, at the headquarters of the Provincialate and in the context of Advent, of the liturgy of the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, was introduced the Religious Profession of Edith Mercedes, born in the city of Chiquinquirá and educated in the School of the Presentation of the same city. In an atmosphere of joy and simplicity faith, hope, color, music and table sharing, the Province of Santa Fe lived fully the wonderful gift of her call to holiness and to the announcement of the Gospel.

Bucaramanga (Colombia), 12/13/2017, Srs. Gemma Morató y Conchi García.- Our Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation of Our Lady is present in 36 countries. So the Charism of Marie Poussepin has taken root in many places and is loved by many different persons.

Guaimaca (Honduras), 12/12/2017, Sr. Myriam Botero.- I was delighted to be in the Community of Guaimaca (Honduras) from October 11 to 20, as I went there to follow up a Project for the formation of young village women by means of ecological farming, which was subsidized in 2016 by the General Management of the Cooperation de Baleares (Spain).

Guaimaca (Honduras), 12/12/2017, Sr. Marta Inés Toro.- Throughout the 16 years of our presence in Honduras, we have experienced that this mission is the fruit of Divine Providence manifested through the collaboration of many people. This has been very clear with the construction of the dental clinic.
