Songkoy, Pangasinan (Philippines), 02/15/2024, Gina Lontoc, novice.- Amidst the lush greenery and winding rivers in villages of Maruglo, Capas, Tarlac, Philippines lies Sitio Flora—a home for a hundred Aeta families, one of the largest indigenous groups in the country. I was one of the eighteen (18) novices who were assigned to the Indigenous Peoples (IP) sector as part of the 10-day immersion program from January 16 to 26, 2024 under the EXODUS Inter-congregational Program for Novices. With us were three formators in charge of the IP sector, one of them was my formator, Sr. Rosy Karippai, OP.
News and Events
Bogota (Colombia), Sr. Ana Francisca Vergara April, February 12, 2024.- Time spins and spins, the liturgical cycle rotates and rotates and we must say that we are once again entering the season of Lent. Time seems to move faster than past years, and we pass from purple to white to green, with some red tones from time to time, almost without noticing it. This is the impression in daily life; everything is running, everything goes fast, we have not finished living a great experience, and we are already on the way to another one.

Putaendo (Chile), 01/21/2024, The delegates of the Vice-Provincial Assembly of Aconcagua.- We are living a time of grace, encounter and communion, where we continue to discern together the future of the Vice-Province of Aconcagua. We are aware that the reality we live today is complex and requires our creativity and audacity to continue to be women who are bearers of the Good News of the Kingdom in the midst of our brothers and sisters, especially the most vulnerable.

Dassasgho (Africa), 01/02/2024, MCS.- We begin our day with a prayer full of symbolism. Gathered in the chapel of Saint Dominic of Dassasgho at 8:15 a.m., the capitulars, on their knees, implored the assistance of Emmanuel and the grace of his Spirit. Afterwards, each one, candle in hand, took the light of Christ and everyone in a procession sang the Dominican Salve towards the statue of Marie Poussepin in the playground of the nursery school. This is where we put our candles and sang “Veni Creator.”
